Kerry is blaming Bush for not not acting in time blah blah blah. Do you guys really think anyone should have taken preemptive measures? How do you prevent something you are not certain would happen(although it seems inevitable). I dont think anyone would want a police state. So if you are talking about preemption Mr Kerry or Mr Bush...the only premptive measure that would have made sense would have been to look into the root of the problem. We blindly support Israel and just make these people(arabs) seem like they are inferior and less deserving than Israelis.Isn't that what Hitler did? Make one group out as racially superior.

Both buildings withstood the plane impacts, but once the heat softened the structure it came down like a pack of cards.
How many other buildings use this structure?
Could a few tanks of propane and a small bomb achieve the same result once the heat builds up inside the building?
Could an ordinary accidental fire in a building like this bring the whole thing down?
To what extent did the design of the WTC contribute to its own demise?
It looks like the 'fireproofing' was the utter minimum required.

I'm not a big fan of the Israelis either...but as long as they continue to be attacked by suicide bombings, how can you not be on their side?
