Wondered myself what happened to Greinke? Anybody know?

He has severe anxiety/ahorophobia...basically, it's a struggle for him to leave his house. He has a huge fear of appearing in front of people, and is trying to get treatment.

Yes is an easy winner here. Huge overlay. Royals win many more than that. Won't even be close.

I don't know how you can say this. This team has absolutley NO TALENT outside of a few average plaers and Sweeney. I wouldnt' feel confident saying they would be a good Triple A team.

On pace to beat this record and wait till they decide they have quit on the year.

I watched or listened to all 4 games versus the Tigers and they are the worst team I have seen in years (and that includes the 2003 Tigers who I watched everyday). Bad pitching and their fielding is god awful:pucking: . What makes you feel that they will win 50 games, the AL is very good this year.

Just intuition and common sense is all I can say at this point. You will see.

Ice, they need to have a winning % of .265 from this point on. That's the equivalent of going 43-119. If you want this, take it now. Only $200, should be a fun bet. Next 13 games are AT NYY, AT OAK, AT SEATTLE, Host Texas. If they get swept by NYY and Oak, and go 3-3 against the texas/oak slate, they are ahead of the pace. (3-9).

THEY COULD LOSE EVERY SERIES AND STILL GET 41 wins.

I'm probbaly gonna go ahead and take the no, for arb reasons

not to come down on them too hard. I have been a huge Tiger fan my whole life, so I know where you are coming from. I respect your support for them

If anyone wants to play the no for larger limits I will gladly book it.

Is your reasoning for this, A) Like most records alot of things will have to go right for them too BREAK a record(kind of goes under the common sense category you posted earlier) or B) they just aren't that bad. Wheather they break this or not you have to feel this will be VERY close. Would like to hear your reasoning

A little bit of both. This team is much better than last years team and they didn't flirt with the record. They are simply losing way more than their fair share of close ones. This will not continue. It depends on what you mean by very close I guess. I think they will get to 53 or so, which I don't consider to be very close.

are you willing to book the bet they can beat the Tigers record of 43-119 and you will give +240?

The over 40.5 wins at Oly at -300 is significantly better than taking over 43.5 wins at -240. I'd be willing to give +125 that the Royals beat the Tigers mark of 43-119 (i.e. win more than 43.5 games.)
