Life goes on and the sun will rise tomorrow.

I remember a friend of mine (in his 30s) crying after the Vikings loss to the Falcons in the NFC Championship game. I was calling to just tell him tough loss, and his brother said he couldn't talk because he was crying. And I thought to myself, a grown man crying over a sporting event...amazing. Sorry but I've known a player or two in my lifetime and they might be annoyed at the time, but it's like water off a duck's back to them. They go back to their mansions and their toys at the end of the day, and it's over quickly. I'll never understand this fandom thing for adults. I do for children but that's a maturity thing. When we become adults, we realize there's a lot more to life than getting that caught up on a sporting event. Sorry if this sounds callous to you, but really, get over it.

I came close when Darren Bevell and Pete Carroll passed from the one to lose in the Super Bowl but was just speechless instead.

Good friend of mine is a die hard Kentucky fan. He cried uncontrollably when they lost to Wisconsin in the quest for the undefeated season.

Most painful sports related moment from my childhood:

Bucky Fucking Dent.

The Red Sox and Yankees tied for the best record and had to play a one game playoff to decide who wins the division.
Bucky Dent who had only hit 4 home runs all year hits one barely over the wall at the foul pole.

I was already counting my live betting 4-1 and 10-1 Saints moneyline bets and then that happened but that's just nothing but an SVP bad beat. I feel for the Saints fans. I have a lot of friends who are Viking fans and I am happy for them. They have been on the other side of the result. Helluva game.

It's fate dude. Just think of it as it had to happen that way. That should give you comfort. Forget about all the what ifs and all that

Ray Allen? Would not have been the hero if Ginobili sinks at least one of two free throws! Talk about choke!
