I know this is a pretty crappy Vol team, but I bet the Gators could give the Trojans a game.

Of course they could. USC is good but any of the the top 5 teams are right with them. I dont see them as a better team than the rest of the country.

Why the hell not? USC won't have had a challenge all yr in the abortion of a schedule they play

Of course they 'could', especially since Tebow would give them fits with his size and mobility and UF's overall team speed is right on par with 'SC. Pointless speculating about this yet though.

Whatsmore, OU has the better chance than UF to run the table. Like 'SC, all their tough games are at home and they wouldn't potentially face Mizzou until the Big 12 CCG.

Nobody knows for sure how good USC is yet..Neither Virginia or OSU had any offense to speak of. USC's biggest tests this season will be Arizona State and Notre Dame. I want to see how they handle a balanced offense with a decent QB. I expect USC to win both of those games. But let's see how good they look in doing it before we crown them kings of the world. If USC somehow gets taken out of the picture, at this point in the season I like Florida and OU.

Notre Dame? Lets be serious here, they pose no threat to USC. Each of their conference games outside of Washington State would worry me more than Notre Dame.

Don't be so sure...Clausen is looking a little better each week. And Notre Dame plays good enough defense to make them competetive. Much better than the defenses that I've seen out of the rest of the PAC-10 so far.

Was this a joke? Both are not only home games for 'SC, but both of those opponent's QB's are terribly overrated and not very mobile.

USC's toughest test this year just might be a trip to Tuscon on Oct 25th. Tuitama could give 'SC problems and we all remember what happened last year when Oregon played there. It's one of the few Pac-10 stadiums that can get really loud due to its layout.

Did you just use "balanced offense with a decent QB and NOTRE DAME" in the same sentence?

USC had 12 layups on the schedule this yr

And before anybody mentions Vince Young, Vince was a better PASSER AND RUNNER than Tebow. AND SC's D is HEAPS better than they were in 05
