Huge hat tip northward as my decision to utilize WILLIE99 & Assoc to assist in catching up my late filed 2007 federal tax return appears to have helped prevent me from paying at least $1000 in taxes.

We had 2005 done by a local H&R Blockster and I did it myself in 2006 pretty much following the format used by dude the year before - resulting in about $1400 due (underpaid) for both those years

I know that 2007 earnings were not a whole lot different for my wife and I than the previous two years so I'm happy to hear of Willie's more accurate and honest summary and smacking my head because I likely swallowed a couple grand in unneeded tax for those previous two years.

Readers are welcome to view this as a Shameless Plug for Willie99's professional accounting, but more important please consider it as a reminder that paying a seasoned pro a reasonable rate for his service (in most any field) instead of trying to cheese your way via use of not so expert professionals is likely much wiser money sense more days than not.

Congrats to Willie for creatively rolling Barmans hydroponic bucket system, gro- lite and storage shed into Federal grant money from the Harvard Marijuana Research Foundation studying the feasibility of a decentralized production network.

Well done! :nohead:

Well...given the recent high level scrutiny, I was reluctant to make a public declaration of the write off I got for my $500 Michael Phelps autographed bong which I use for medical research.

Also should confess I haven't seen Willie's bill yet.

Offered to send him some $$ in advance but he just waved it off and said, "Don't worry about it. I know you'll pay me" - followed by his northeastern gangster-style laugh over the phone.

You can file amended returns for 2005 and 2006 if you overpaid and get it back. Have Willie look at the old returns.

Thanks DICK...I actually thought of that earlier and will take that step as soon as he completes my 2008 and I send him my first born.

Thank you for the kind words Barfriend, and thank you for your business and trust. The truth is I enjoy my job and I enjoy helping people.

As for your invoice, well you're paying the friends and family rate, so there shouldn't be any sticker shock.

Gotta keep in mind though, lap dances are $35 per song at the local juice bar.

Did you know? All income is taxable, even income from illegal activities, it says so right there in the good book.

Just ask Al Capone.

I am a believer in that you (usually) "get what you pay for".....I have learned the hard way myself....
