I was going make a bet on Baylor as the heavy -37 favorite for this game, but if it's going to rain ALL DAY? NO WAY!

Can you imagine all the people betting Baylor BLINDLY not knowing the weather? WOW!

This is WHY it's so important to factor weather in one's handicapping.

My book has 42.5 as well for a 1st 1/2 total, and 75 for the game.

I think I may tail you on this 1st 1/2 totals play. First, I need to find a live cam shot in Waco to see if it's raining cats and dogs right now. !/

Yes, the playing surface at McLane Stadium is artificial turf. What about wet footballs, the wind, etc.? :think2:

Just a bit of thought here for you guys. Bad weather games usually go over, for instances snow games. The defenses have a hard time with footing and the offensive players know where they are going while the defense has to react. The conditions also slow down pas rush from D lines.

I have lost more bets trying to let weather play a large factor. Maybe it does in a ground and pound game. Very different from Big12 ball. Either the under or over will cash... so BOL with whatever side you play.

Wind has more of a factor than anything. 10mph isn't bad....20 starts to have a little effect

for me personally i see no value in any kind of play in a game like this. i hate to

Fwiw. Last month hurricane i east coast i went 8-0 playing under all those games. Lucky of course.
Same scenario I played under all 4 games inTX today and lines dropped 2-3 pts each.

texas open 55 now 47
baylor open 81 now 74
rice hasnt dropped much and they are supposed to get the most rain today.....surprising esp considering army's offense is bad as it is
