there is NOTHING "humanintarian" about making 2 teams play a game outdoors in boise in late december/early january.
bowl games are supposed to be a reward for a great season - and sending fans to freezes their asses off in boise - as well as the teams - AIN'T HUMANE!
what's next:
The Saddam Hussein Baghdad Bowl
this game will pit (with "pit" being the key word here) the moronic school presidents who oppose a TRUE playoff game.
i can just see it now - myles brand running an "out" pattern and being run over by a herd of sheep!
Gator Coach I liked it also, but I need to look deeper at this one awhile. The higher national stats favoring Tulsa is alittle deceiving as I look at their last opponents they have won against. Going to search for some mismatch or intangibles to strenght my lean. But still for now its a lean for me. GL to you and Aloha CC.

lol winky, I guess thats why Boise finally got out of their own bowl. They probably said,"I know we got an advantage here , but dam lets get away from this snow and cold for once and be rewarded for our efforts." Good move on their part.
Winky - Love that post! Nothing Humanitarian about making them play in Boise AFTER the major bowl days either - January 3rd, C'mon. This game should have been played in early December. But it is action and I actually like Tulsa. It's been so long since they have been to a bowl they might actually give a shit about this game. As for 6-6 Georgia Tech, I can't imagine this team getting too excited about this trip. It almost seems like punishment for an underachieving season - kind of like being sent to Siberia. I'll take my chances catching over a TD with Tulsa.
