Huge Parlays, Should I begin to hedge?

The amount of money I could potentially win in these parlays would be substantial for me. The 6 teamer I only have 2 games left, Uconn -4 and Florida -3. The 12 teamer I did to humor myself, and it has been successful thus far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I would hedge the orginal $40 bet on Buffalo to at least get your original wager back. If UCONN covers I would drop a couple hundred on Oklahoma. This way you will surely win something. But that's just me......

u can get buffalo at 6.5 now so i would definitely drop like 50 to 100 on them - u could get lucky and middle n with both

only hedge the last game. hope you got 25k to play with against the parlay if it comes down to it. gl

edit. i see that you got 2 plays on the last game. i never do that on my 10 team parlays and 15 team teasers even though i play them small and for fun. you always want the last game by itself preferrably late so you got time to hedge it.

Your 12 teamer has too many games left, your 6 teamer, I'd hedge Buffalo and then if UConn wins, you can hedge Oklahoma. If you let it ride with Uconn and Buff wins, you're ass out. Nothing big there, just enough to get your money back, maybe $50, a hundred if you're no convinced. Then you go to the FL game knowing what you need. You can then hedge it to how much risk/reward you want to deal with.

I agree with whats said above. I personally like to cover my parlays. With the 6 teamer I would put 100 on buff, if uconn covers put 500 on OU. If the parlay hits you still win about 1500. As far as the 12 teamer, it may be a bit early but maybe put a 100 or so on the first couple and more as it nears the end.
