Notre Dame kicking out Daniels, Moore, Williams, Russell for cheating. News should break at some point today.

Daniels top returning WR. Russell starting CB. Williams and Moore expected to start on defense.

Also Appalachian State RB Marcus Cox tore his meniscus. 2100 yards 20+ TDs last season.

If you had SportsOptions you'd know all of this and would have been able to get the lines before they moved earlier today.

Email jaket@sportsoptions.com if you have never had a trial (or even if you have, still might be able to work some magic) and I can hook up you RX guys with some specials.

Investigation is still pending but Notre Dame felt strong enough to remove the players from the roster completely. Sources saying it's as big as the UNC scandal and also involves non-student athletes. I'm feeling confident it will be the season with how big this will get.

ND went from u9.5 -150 to u7.5 +105 for me

that's pretty wild for 4 starters. almost ready to take the o7.5

I think they should only be worth 1 or 1.5 wins really. Would lean toward o7.5 at plus money but not going to touch it. I'm a proponent of O and D lines as well as quarterback being far more important than WR/CB. That being said, they did lose some quality players. The good news for UND is that they recruit well so they have more talent.

I never thought highly of UND going into the season, I'm just saying that they are one of the 10-15 or so teams in college football that have top 50 recruits at every position they can plug in. Not saying they are going to be ready but it's not the death knell other teams would be going through with the losses.

Not even close to being top 100 at every position.

Sorry Loomis, but to me it looks like ND is not totally committed to football, unlike some other schools.

Almost every one of their recruits is top 100 at their individual positions in their class. Am I missing something? I feel like we might be talking about two separate things.

Notre Dame's Rivals Recruiting rankings for the last 5 years have been 14, 10, 20, 3, 11. That's an average ranking of #12. That's a pretty high five year ranking. Anytime you can get around the top 10 on a steady basis year by year, you should be considered a contender...
