Was lucky to make the playoff (start this week). #5 seed out of 6. QB's have been my downfall this year (and Trent Richardson, go f yourself).

All relative though, I could be playing in a league for $5.00 and everyone sucks. Mine is a $200 entry so almost everyone pays attention. Happy just to make it, anything can happen.

My team is awful. I Drafted Vereen (dropped him when he got hurt wk 2), doug martin, ahmad bradshaw,. ETC i've been victim of injuries big time. That said I am in a terrible division and if i win and the div leader loses this week i'm in the playoffs.

So I've been discussing a way to do our league so that you take so much luck out of the equation. I have actually been the luckiest team on the planet. I'll score second lowest in the league and happen to play the guy who scores the lowest. This is the type of thing I don't like.

I know some leagues will not play matchups and just give W's to the top 6 scorers and L's to the bottom 6. Maybe something like this is more fair than actually matching up and playing a real schedule?

I play in one every year (until this year) that is total points only, no wins or losses at all. It's very fun.

Part of the pool is set aside and goes to the high scorer each week which keeps the bottom-dwellers interested at the end of the year. And there are no playoffs. Nothing more frustrating than being high up in points but missing the playoffs or dominating your league and losing in the playoffs cause you have one off week.

In my biggest league I'm trying to win pts title and I'm 18pts behind this guy.

Tonight he starts Garrett Graham over Julius Thomas and of course he goes off.

He had to have been busy and the Thurs night creeped up on him or something, had to have made a mistake to do that. Julius is definitely in Sunday and even if he isn't Graham is just replacement level. I know JVille is awful on D and especially vs tight ends but there is no way he meant to do that.

Hopefully J Thomas goes 120-2 on Sunday but damn thats a beat

Worst year ever. I only won 3 games and that was with Brees. I drafted from the 5 hole and 3 of my first 5 picks were Doug Martin, Steven Jackson, and Darryl Richardson. Drafted Heyward-Bay instead of Brian Hartline and Reuben Randle over Keenan Allen. I was expecting big things from Hakeem Nicks in a contract year, bust.

I think that I'd almost rather do this. What I'd rather do is both. My only knock on the way your's works is that it is less like real football. I do like playoff's and I like the idea of keeping it as close to real football as possible.

I agree I've always been in one league like this (total points only) and the rest I'm in are head to head.

It's just a nice change of pace.
