I'm sure a lot gets bet at -110, or even worse a ML fav like -200 ! +130 isn't good, it should be at least +250 if not parlaying.

Got this from via the Newbie forum (thanks, Woody0!).

Do you suggest finding out first from the book whether they allow the 8-way three-teamers, or playing them and "hoping"?

Stupid question perhaps, but at the same time, I wonder if calling it out to them raises the red flag.

You see it Kruser ?

Thanks Doug, I got it. I was trying to figure out another way to do this the other day, but this is definitely the best method.

Easiest way I've found to blow out match plays is to bet the highest dog you can find on any sport at the casino that has the match plays.....think boxing, tennis or some oddball stuff that has real high odds. Then offset the favorite at a Pinnacle like casino. Try and find as close a difference in spreads as possible between casinos. With patience you can easily make 80% return of your match play.

That works about as well, takes more money at Pinny to do it, though !

No problem with parlays at CRIS, I did it once at Skybook. If book takes it not much they can say about it later.

I generally just parlay a bunch of small bets to chew up the Bonus Bets, like 3-5 teams, baseball is good for this. Just get big + money is what matters.

The other caveat with doing what I do is you risk hitting that +2000 field hockey match at some crappy small book and then you have to sweat getting paid!

You can be noticed flying way over the radar doing this. They sort of have expectations that you will play chalk. I highlighted this strategy buy nailing the 2005 3 point contest with Stoudamire at +7.00-1. It was even better because it was a loyalty play from CRIS. I accumulated over 40 shirts, T's and polos. The CS gal in charge even asked, What are you going to do with all of these shirts? Wear them. Mostly gave the hats and mousepads away. But you were best served cashing them in a certain way to maximize the Bonus Plays. Then I just dogged out. Hit a few NCAA foots dogs, like +2.5. At first I would just split out value not caring. But I began to comprehend the obvious extra return if you could hit anything, let alone a bunch. Soon my loyalty was no longer rewarded. Unceremoniously kicked to the curb.

So for all my troubles I got all my accumulated points up until then confiscated, No more swag or Bonus Plays. I also got all bonuses suspended from any CRIS/Diamond and my sport pager got shut off. But as far as a strategy, it was very effective for me. No parlays though. I just singled up on +1.50 and above, with emphasis on big hits. If I had it to do all over again, I would have not accumulated the points for them to grab. I should not have been surprised they glommed them. By saving up and taking big shots I was doubly visible doing it with Bonus Plays. It ended up costing me future bonuses.

I redeem every time at 10k points, and use them quick, they stopped sending shirts at all, but that's minor. Crazy structure to CRIS/ Diamond points.

If I remember correctly the hat was the best freeplay per point return. I think the T-shirt came in 2nd. To help the girl at reward center I ordered a cap, a polo and a T for $450. You never want to accumulate or use those high points, that is a true gotcha. If I was really ruthless, I would have just cashed in hats only. They also limited me to one each, after taking multiple caps on one cash in. That was funny. Nice shirts. Next.
I still have boxes with 1 each, or a $450 Bonus Play, hat, polo and a T. Thanks CRIS.

10,000 points is best, then the shirt, you have it right. I think a 3rd grader could make a points table that makes more sense than their crap, it should hold at a constant rate, maybe giving more on the high end.

No, it's a crappy cap. The polo shirt is nice. Maybe I am just not the white hat type. But maybe it comes one size fits all and my big fat FROG head looks weird in it. They let me have all XL shirts. I actually did not care about the caps, it was the extra Bonus Bet for 1000 more points. I would have taken nothing.
