Except for the most commonly abused drug in the world - alcohol.

But other than that - congratulations on your temperance!

The only reason cigarettes are still available is the many hands its greased over the years, other wise why would a product that kills more in 1 year then AIDS , AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS , MURDERS , SUICIDES , Illegal Drugs all combined . You know how many deaths are contributed to marijuana use .

ZERO
More facts I'm guessing.

Actually that's a reasonably stated (though grammatically troubled) summary of Causes of Death in USA

Tobacco-inspired deaths are in the high six figures annually and the other listed CODs don't even approach 100,000 combined

LOL, you sure are contradicting yourself kid. Alcohol seems like a "other drug" to me.

POINT IS>>>> If little "CK" baby came out of his mommy's womb and the USA Gov't stated that weed was legal and alcohol was not...Would you be in here arguing VS marijuana?

Nope, Little CK baby would be a so called "POT HEAD" and think a shot of vodka is the devil.

Im done with this convo, go ahead and think you are sharp by going to www.pinnaclesports.com and seeing where the heavy juice is and falling in love with that play for that only reason, I will see ya around...GL...

F.A.D.E.D., it's likely a good spot for me to publicly reissue my longtanding challenge to anyone who thinks alcohol is less debilitating than cannabis

We'll make like the RaidersOfLostArk scene in the Himalayas

I'll have a stash of medicinal grade hydro and my opponent gets to have a bottle of Bacardi 151. We'll trade shots for tokes and see who hits the floor first.

As the attendants are carrying him out on a stretcher, I'll be heading onstage to sing a few tunes with the band and maybe crank down a solid couple minutes of 12 bar blues on my Telecaster.

I don't smoke it because I can't handle it. It kicks my ass. I do however party with many mature and responsible adults that do smoke weed and lead very productive lives. Ah.....just kidding.

I usually smoke marijuana on kind of a regular basis but haven't smoked the last few days because sooner or later I am going to have to drug test for an upcoming job. Anyone have any advice on what I could do or take to make sure I don't fail?

:cripwalk:
Those drinks they sell at GNC work they are about $35
I would take a small visine eye dropper clean it out then put a little clorox bleach and dilute it with water, and drop 2 small drops into your sample .
It worked every time.
Drinking Pomegranate juice helps too but you have to drink a lot.

SPOT ON!

And if you could please televise this event, I will :bong: while watching your challenge and be a little hungry@) then go out and meet some girls....(<)<then :dancefool

While others who are drinking while watching the challenge

will :drink: then try to meet a girl but will :puke1: on them and since alcohol is a depressant there is a chance for ;+)-

PS: I like drinking but the debate shouldn't be a debate. The folks who seriously think there is a debate here about alcohol vs marijuana are the ignorant folks who haven't tried both drugs first hand.

All kidding aside (gasp!) I have certainly learned during my now 34 years of cannabis consumption that irresponsible use (aka for most people = OVERuse) puts a limit on one's potential for success in many areas of life.

That's why I modified my own use over 15 years ago to easily half of what it was in earlier years. Plus I only use above average grade so that I frankly don't have to consume much at all in order to deliver desired effects.

Alcohol linked to 75,000 U.S. deaths a year
Third leading cause of mortality, government study finds

Alcohol abuse kills some 75,000 Americans each year and shortens the lives of these people by an average of 30 years, a U.S. government study suggested Thursday.

Excessive alcohol consumption is the third leading cause of preventable death in the United States after tobacco use and poor eating and exercise habits.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which published the study, estimated that 34,833 people in 2001 died from cirrhosis of the liver, cancer and other diseases linked to drinking too much beer, wine and spirits.

*******Another 40,933 died from car crashes and other mishaps caused by excessive alcohol use.********** < All the info you need right there.

Researchers considered any man who averaged more than two drinks per day or more than four drinks per occasion to be an excessive drinker. For women it was more than one drink per day or more than three drinks per occasion.

“These results emphasize the importance of adopting effective strategies to reduce excessive drinking, including increasing alcohol excise taxes and screening for alcohol misuse in clinical settings,” the study said.

Men accounted for 72 percent of the excessive drinking deaths in 2001, and those 21 and younger made up 6 percent of the death toll.

Light or moderate drinking can benefit a person’s health, but heavy drinking increases the risk of high blood pressure, heart disorders, certain cancers and liver disease.

Excessive drinkers are also more likely to die in car accidents. The United States aims to cut the rate of alcohol-related driving fatalities to 4 deaths per 100,000 people by 2010, a 32 percent drop from 1998.
