-unfortunatly, our Yankee posters will not be able to help much with this thread but I hope to get some good info out of the BETFAIR users we do have.

-CANADIANS you should seriously consider betfair, as they announced this week they have introduced NETELLER & are offering free transactions for 3 months.

-It is a bit confusing for my simple mind :icon_conf as everthing is in decimal odds not the EASY USA style odds I am used to.... so will always have my conversion chart near by.

Yesterday TAYLOR was available on the BETFAIR exchanges at -110 while at the same time PINNY had HOPKINS at +1500..... (as reported by Bozo)

Is it better to Back or Lay?

winbet, from what I understand you like to offer ridiculous odds on a team once they go down a run or two & wait for them to come back a little to buy some back, from what I understand you say they gobble up the ridiculous odds like Candy?

Betfair now have a policy of policing live games, therefore if it isnt live on TV, they suspend betting:sad3: But thats to stop jokers like me taking advantage of the sheep.

WinBet: Did you get in on the boxing last night?

At one point you could get +1500 Pinny, and lay 1.9 at Betfair

BTW Savant -- I don't use BF for US Sport..

Always a better price at one of Matchbook, Mansion or TBX, and TBX far better for in-running.

Didnt realise they all did in-running. Mansion doesnt seem to bet on anything other than mainstream, putting money in matchbook is just like waiting for the wind to blow your dough, have to check out TBX, last time I looked, liquidity was at a premium. Thing about Betfair is your bets actually get taken on a regular basis.

They don't, but without getting into it, most of my bets are pregame.

Matchbook offer great odds, sometimes several pts better than some books on the board - a decent out for tennis too. Mansion, yes mainstream, but good for your US Sports.

Betfair -- I agree, some IR is good. I tend to do the Five games IR, but liquidity is at a premium with the NASN games in my experience -- and Five's coverage has been dodgy at best this year. It's a case of put up a bet, get matched, and hope the money's there to get out.. .though it may be better with no soccer competing atm.

TBX has market makers, so you don't get the way off odds, but you do get some interesting prices with a few $k each site when compared to 365, Stan James or BF in running prices.
