First i wanna start off by saying this. If you honestly dont give a fuck if you win or not dont read no more. Go pick a game or something.
But if you really wanna make a profit this season use this advice it will work and you will win.

Being that about 90% of players are degenrates wether they know it or not. Im assuming that this advice will only work for 10% of you.
The other 90% just like too pay there book. And do so every year.

First before anything else HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO WIN. 5k 10k 30k?
The most important piece to this game we play is a goal. Knowing what you want too make. The NOOB player could get so lucky and win 30k in 2-3
weeks with the rest of the season to go. All though most likely will give it all back before the season comes to a end. If you dont have a battle plan
and or a goal to hit you mine aswell not even play. Your a loser already.

So how do we set this goal ? First we haft to ask ourself how much are we willing to lose to make this number. 500? 5000? 20000?. If your a smaller player wich i know most of you are. A 500 bankroll will be perfect for example. Now any investment in the real world that returns 10% annualy on your money is a great investment however this isnt a Mfund stocks or cd's this high risk gambling. And the return is there for a 4 to 5 time return
on your Money at risk. So for example a 500 bankroll should look to make
2k-2.5k on the season. So with this in mind a 500 bankroll should have a goal of about 2k on the year. This goal is set and never changed until its
hit. And once its hit allows you to change your progession. Wich i will explain what that is later.

So we understand A goal is mandatory in gambling if you dont have one
your done.

The 2nd and just as important as the goal is money management.
Being there all kinds of therys on this subject and this is for dummies.
Im going to make this as easy to understand as i can. But before i do
i wanna show a example of poor money management. This story is about Bob. Bob is a ordinary guy excited about football coming up and loves to bet, except this year Bob is goona be a little patient with what he bets and only wants to play 220 a game. That first week Bob is on fire
Bob wins 6 out of 8 games. Later that week Bob sees that on sunday theres a big game he loves.Bob feels very confident on the colts on sunday to win big and he says to himself "im up, whats the difference, I got nothing too lose its there money"And he puts 550 on the colts and of course the colts lose. What does this mean? First of all we know bob has no goal. Along with this Bob has no understanding of the money hes really
putting at risk, to win just another 500.Bob is a player with no clue as far as money management. Wich most players are the same as bob!

The key to money management is progression through consistently betting the same amount of money on each play. In most cases players belive
some games deserve more of a bet vs's others. But in actualalty by risking more on any one given game it reduces your chance of gaining profit.

Bob all together for the week went 6-3 and ended up -570 for the week.
Poor bob. Instead of betting only another 220 and still being up for the week if he won bob is now in the red.

The same way everytime is the only way to play. So if you dont have
a goal your done! And if you dont have the dicipline to be consistent
your done.

If you cant do these 2 simple things stop reading now cause you wont understand the rest.

Now comes the fun part. We need to figure out how much our same bet should be everytime. This is simple being we already made our goal.
If you are serious about making money and think you have the skills to
find 2-3 winners a week. Then in my experience i've found to have a 10
bet bankroll to start will do fine. Obviously now we know when to quit aswell. Lose your bankroll your done. Simply means your were not educated enough to find winners this year maybe next year you will do better.

So for example got a 2k bankroll bets should be just under 200 a play.
If you lose 10 to the negative at any point its a wrap.

I started out breaking this into parts but as i go its all gelling together.
If we go back and look at bob again we see he bet 9 plays for the week
for most thats not that much for a pro gambler thats insane.
Even if bob only bet 220 on the colts that would mean bob put at risk
1980 to win a thin 200 say bob won the colts still 1980 to win
600 .And even if the 500 hit 1980 to win 900 Fuck that!

MRIR Minimal Risk with Increased Return. By betting only 2-3 games a week sometimes 1. Your initial risk is minimized buy not risking your money over and over again. Obviously the more we play the more we stand to lose. Thats why the casinos will give there left arm to keep a big player playing. So i guess i would haft to ask this question. Do you think you could make a goal stay diciplined with MM and have the dicipline to only bet 1-3 games a week? If you do then my friend betting sports will be very easy for you. This advice comes from years of mistakes and other peoples
mistakes i learned from.

Use it or throw it out the window could careless just dont like too see so many people with there pants down. Thats all.

Forgive the spelling and puncuation. Is what it is. Weird how the lines break up.

O wait hold up How could i forget progression.
This is more important then anything else.
This is how you grow and make more and more money every year. With out progression dicipline would become so boring.

Ok so lets say for example sake we have a 2200 bankroll
this means off of a 10 play bankroll our same bets would be 220 each. To make this easy to understand for every 10 wins above 500 allows you to up your consistent amount. you started with 2200 and you now have 4200
this now increases our consistent bet to 380 a play.Every
time you are up 10 games it brings your consistent amount up.If you are being picky ,stengy and greedy with the money youve won and are only betting 2-3 sometimes 1 game a week. This would take you all season to do.And sometimes only one turn a season.
But you show profit.

This is a buisness gentleman, Not a game.
Take it as a game and you will pay to play the game.

If you dont post your picks your noble efforts will be regarded as arrogant preaching. Post your picks and units and put your $ where your mouth is. I am not flaming. You make some good points. On this site, the proof is in the $ not the theory.

They JimmyWynn posts were very funny, although they weren't intended to be. He posted in a normal style for his first little while on the site, then must have thought, "A gimmick. I need a gimmick." Then he switched over exclusively to the third person.

Took lots of time to just say what any minimally experienced sports bettor already knows:

Don't bet on too many games, or don't bet just to bet.

Practice good bankroll management by not over betting on your bankroll.

Have a goal.

When you increase your bankroll substantially, then increase your bet size.

10 bet bankroll is bad money management in my mind, you should be risking at most around 5% of your bankroll at any time.

I agree with the 10 bet bankroll being bad money management. The only time I did that is when I first started and only had $250 as my bankroll (many years ago). Now that my bankroll has grown signifigantly, my units are 1% of my bankroll. I tend to have no more than 8% of my bankroll at risk at any given period of time.

you can't win if you don't put you balls on the line. Bet early and often. See my posted plays to build wealth. I am not wayyyy smarter than you guys but i am a geneyus at this here bettin chit. I have turned a $1,000 bank roll into a -$1,730 bank roll. The number is bigger and that is all that matters. Right?
