How to and should I hedge? Looking for advice please.

I know this is the football section but wanted a general answer, since hedging can apply to anything.....thanks in advance.

As one of my "stellar" picks I took Toronto Series risking $260 to win $100....I know dumb to lay that much.......but now as Texas is about to lock this series up do I start to hedge or lick my wounds and take it? I'm basically down $260, do I bet $200 on Texas today? then if Toronto wins bet $500 on Texas next game. Any input is appreciated.

You take the 260 loss.....It`s for only a $100 profit.....No hedge here.

What if Texas loses today....Then you`re down $460.

You`re basically chasing $100 bucks.

I agree with greenbacks. Its not + money or a juicy parlay to try and middle or buy yourself out of it. If it paid 6 to 1 or higher than you would have a chance to hedge but you are trying to buy out of a negative bet. Either let the bet ride and hope for a series return or just make a separate bet on today/tomorrows games and let this one be washed away as a loss.

If the series was 2-2 and today was the deciding game.....Then you can hedge if you had a big payout....It`s only the 3rd game nothing saying the Jays can`t win.........If Texas was to lose you would be down $460.
