whats so funny.....look at their scores against who they have played so far....if it werent for the 2 cupcake teams that U Conn and Syracuse played they are barely sneaking by.....they give a Pitt a cupcake game too but they arent good enough to take advantage of it....
weasel, you are clueless. your basing your comments on the first half of this game. lets just forget about the regular season altogether. pitt definitely deserved a 1 seed & the last time i looked the big east was 4-0. not that they weren't expected to be but be realistic here. there is no doubt it's either 1 or 2 in conference strength & there is no debating that. you can call them overrated if at least 4 of the 7 don't make the sweet 16 or none make the final 4.
so what if vilanova & marquette had hard fought wins. marquette has lost james for the year & utah st was no pushover. i admitt villanova scared me but they ended up pounding them the last 10 minutes to pull away. if every favorite won by 30+ it wouldn't be called march madness & we would all be rich.
