They really didn't play all that well.
And that's why I would be feeling a bit nervous if I was UNC (or providence) right now. We played our C game and took down one of the top five tourny favorites. With the weight lifted off those guys of beating UK, we could easily come out of that one loose and confident and ready to make a run at this thing.
And if we dont, sending scum kentucky home made it all worth it anyway. Ulis earned my respect. But beyond that it's the same old UK.
congrats on the win, but imo kentucky was off this yr having a up and down one and i really didnt think going into this yr tourney they would go far.carolina is playing well too and imo this is one team that indy does not want to play.the depth of carolina will wear this indy team down..........
No one gave us a chance against UK. They were the 4th fav in vegas to win the whole tournament. But now that we beat them they were never that good lol.
As far as UNC goes, nobody will give us a shot against them either which is fine by me. Let the bulletin board material build up all week long.
I know this team, and the pressure is off them now after beating kentucky. All the pressure will be on North Carolina in this one.
I wouldn't want to play us right now.
