No way on earth its coming under 3 but I think it could go to 3.5 or 4....

Minnesota on the road is a different animal

Minny is 5-19 straight up away from home the last 3 years, 9-15 ATS. Philly 5-3 SU and 4-4 ATS in thier new digs last year. Philly was 6 overs 1 under and 1 push at home last year.
I agree that the number will go up & I am also looking at the over.

grab over now if you want it...while there are still some 49s around.

Likewise, if you like Philly, better grab them at 3, there are already 3.5 out there

I would say some of you will may be able to get 4.5 and 52 at the squarer shops 5 minutes to gametime

I don't give all that much credence to what happened the last 3 years as 2 of those years Vikings were not all that good. I believe that you have to give value to what's on the field this year, not the last 3 years. I guess if We used that reasoning, We would not have seem the mighty Packers lose at home which has happened a few times last year and just last weekend. I certainly can't see this line going up to -4 and I expect it to stay at - 3. Vikings are a very solid team this year and I believe the Eagles are not as good as last year. All this does give a lean to the over however. We shall see shortly.....That's why they play the games I guess !

Eagels defense is the big factor in my book. Did not look good against a pathetic NYG team last week. Minny WRs will burn this secondary, and Philly's lack of basic fundamentals (tackling) is going to hurt them.

I lean to the over, but line value is not going to be there. Definitely like Minny at +3.5 or better.

Kermit IMO history does play a role, not the only factor but it is significant.....the Bears always play the pack tough...that was no surprise...winning outright was a surprise, from a betting standpoint Bears covering was no surprise...

Basing the play on one game is almost as pointless than...Look at Baltimore vs Pittsburgh if you want an example...way too many variables to say by last weeks contest Minny is the right side...how about Minnesota's long history of being the complete opposite playing outdoors? I will say this about the Eagles, they tend to get much stronger on defense as the year progresses, this may be the spot the Giant House Plant could sneak in and get a win....I still will take my chances laying 3 with a proven very good hometeam over a historic road team who plays awful away from the dome.

I watched the entire VIKINGS game last week.

Their defense is horrid!

Looks like a good matchup and one I may tune into. Phily seems the better team, but we are talking NFL. Good luck all.

Journeyman,
How about the Packers always win at Home ? Seems to me they have lost outright 4 times in their last 9 games ?? Am I correct ?? If so, so much for History .

I know that counting the playoffs, the Packers had won 29 consecutive home games during their championship run. Up until last year Favre had never lost at Lambeau when the Temp was below 35 %. Big deal... They lost 3 times there last year and already lost to lowly Bears at home last week.

LOL- Of course you can find examples...I dont get what point you're trying to make.

All I was saying is that 'history' is a factor...
