I like mac's and i've owned them. But people have problems with macs too... This guy I know just drove down from Canada. He disconnected the camera while it was still on or something and wham all the photos on the computer were corrupt and all the photos on the camera were erased. Kinda sucks since it was an entire trip worth of photos.

Well you have to quit the camera before you unplug it same with an ipod you have to eject them first otherwise there is a chance of erasing your photos. It tells you to quir before you disconnect. I love the simplicity of the mac everything is the way it should be very intuitive and really no chance of getting viruses on it.

RIP Toshiba piece of shit. Going with Mac next.

Right now when I turn it on it gives me the black Windows XP start screen but after a couple of seconds the whole screen turns white. And randomly it will start working again. Any ideas? Is it software related or is the screen busted? Thanks geeks.

If I could get a Mac for $450 Canadian I'd be all over it...

Common sense keeps you safe from viruses...i've gotten two in the past 10 years...and removed them both within the hour of getting them..

Im about to spring for the Mac Pro Book. 17" screen, ultra fast dual processors, 8 gig hardrive and 8 hour battery life. Gonna suck dishing out the $3800 or so, but I wont have to buy a computer for at least 10 years.

Appreciate the heads up Raoul. I am adding the faster processor, bigger hard drive and some business programs which account for the additional 1000. Will check on Ebay but really, really want a warranty on it.

you can get the applecare for it. costs like a $100 bucks. I got the extra memory and a bigger hardrive for mine also. But really you can buy the extra ram for ALOT cheaper and put it in your self its really easy. I would recommend getting the faster processor though. The ram and hardrive arent that bigg of a deal as external drives are dirt cheap now and like i said the 4gb of kingston ram is like 70 bucks on ebay and apple charges way more for the upgrade.
