I agree wanderer. I posted a message about SGA and it was moved. Just stupid. Considering it can help avoid the potential of people losing money it is shameful for this site not to leave those posts up.

it is 3800?????

I know FIRST HAND that there is trouble there. There are 100's of good books. Why take a chance? They owed me 16 large, slowly have paid 9 and owe me 8 more. This has been going in since Feb 6th, 2005 some 60 days. I've written them off as haven't seen anything in 30 days, but they claim they are going to pay me. We'll see. Been with them since DAY ONE. New owners a problem or they just dont have the money, don't know!

Yes, it is shameful.

If The Shrink is so concerned about Royal's solvency, and so concerned with the well-being of posters' funds, he should be starting a thread that talks about the $3,500 coverage at SGA, instead of deleting any reference to it.

No posts about SGA were deleted they are in Site Promotions along with many other posts mentioning other non Rx. advertiser websites.

Wil - You know very well that posts in site promotions are not seen by most posters. For a issue that has been on the forefront of offshore news, this kind of info should without a doubt be left for people to see if there is truly a concern to player funds.

That's great but the deleted posts were not posted to shill for anyone just trying to aleviate fears of people worried about getting stiffed. The posts belong in this thread, NOT in a site promotions section.

You can promote any site you wish, but use Promos please. We have to be consistent and if we allow one site then we have to allow all. We are not going to allow the main forum to become a Promo area as we have one readily available.

Thanks

General - There have been plenty of times that other sites have been mentioned in this forum. This isn't a shill job by anyone, but rather a way to inform people how to insure their funds in uncertain times. Many mods, including Shrink are recommending not to play with Royal at this time. Why on earth would they not want those with funds to be protected? Especially since many of them may be playing because they were an advertiser on this site. It is definately poor judgement to move these threads.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but this is a no-brainer to me.

General and Wilheim:

Two points:

1. The Rx is responsible for a number of posters signing up and playing at Royal.
2. Royal is having some payout problems.

-----------------------------

Now, if the situation is that people's funds are currently at risk at Royal (which The Shrink is implying), then you are faced with 2 choices with regards to this SGA issue:

1. Alert these posters that currently have money at risk at Royal, that SGA guarantees up to $3,500 of their funds. This would be an attempt to help these posters, who relied on the Rx for guidance, to safeguard their post-up funds at Royal.

2. Shuffle any SGA references to site promos, even when long-time posters (who have no vested interest in SGA) are providing the information in an attempt to aid other posters.

----------------

I don't know about you two, but my conscience would not allow me to take the 2nd option, even if the higher-ups at The Rx gave that order ... Guess that's why I could never be a moderator.

And save the "Our main concern is the safety of our posters' funds" crap ... it just doesn't fly anymore.
