Goodbye #1 seed in the Dance. In a way a loss might be good for them, but not a blow out. Xavier humilitated St. Joes plain and simple.

My opinion is St Joes already has their fate, #1 or #2 seed isnt that big of a difference, you have to go through everybody to win the thing anyways... Looked to me they were playing playground ball, not really giving any effort..
I would rather sit at home tomorrow then play another damn game that pretty much is worthless.

I reallly believe they threw this game to Xavier from the start..

Wil, i couldn't agree with you more. I did want to see them lose in the a-10 tourney to take some of the spotlight off but not look as bad as they did today. When the selection committee does the seeding do they take into account the margin of victories (or defeats for that matter)?

I agree with EDG.

There are good coaches out there, Rick Barnes for one, who believe its best to lose early on in your conference tourney, remaining fresh for the NCAAs. Most likely the case with St.Joes today. Conference tourneys are nice but the NCAAs are everything.

Cecil- you positive? box score shows he played 5 mins and picked up 2 fouls, so not sure if he started and picked up 2 fouls and got injured or what? He must have got injured?

Enough, You are a riot. A team loses 1 game in 28 tries and all the sudden "wow, they are overrated". Relax,they had a great year and a horrible game today. Remember, It is only one game. Try commenting on how "overrated" they are before they lose a game.

I told this to DANTE when he was raving about St Joe's....

They beat my lousy ODU team by only 3 points earlier this year....

They will not go far in the tourney and surely, they don't deserve a number 1 seeding...
