Do you do it on a regular basis or when the battery shows a certain %, etc? What make/model is it?

In July, Verizon told me that my flip phone would get worse with the reception because of something, I forget the wording..So I went to their store and "upgraded" to another flipphone made by LG.
I had the older one 10 years or thereabouts. The new LG model doesn't hold a charge anywhere near equal to the old LG model..Not happy! It does have a blocking feature that my older model did not have, which I like.

Pretty much constantly, if it's down to 70-80%, I charge it, so 2-3 times a day

Thanks for the information. Guess, I'd best stay with this and be happy with every 3 days or so.

Just as a test >..I charged last night to 100% about 9;30pm. This morning at 9am, with no calls or text messages it shows 93%.. So it dropped 7 % just doing whatever it does internally.

If you have a smartphone there is a lot you can do to add a lot of battery time. (or should i say, not lose battery time)

Customize and utilize the toggles in in the pull down bar.
Not using GPS, turn it off (this is a big one)
Not using wifi, trun it off
-
Brightness level is another huge one. The screen being on is the #1 battery user. The dimmer your screen, the better. Using the auto-dim feature can help.
-
Reception is HUGE. If you work in a place with really bad reception (hospital, factories, labs, etc) or put you phone in a locker, your battery will flat out nose dive. Like from 24hrs to 4hrs. And its exponentially worse if GPS and wifi are on.
-
Smaller things, that will add up too.
Go into settings, click on apps and trun off notifications and autosync for everything. (unless you NEED to to be notified). Bigest one is email. It 'checks' for new email when you open the app. Which is fine for most people.
-
Those small changes above will potentially add hours of battery time.
-
Lastly, Most newer phones have battery save settings. My Samsung has multiple power vs perfomance settings that if I max out can get multiple days off one charge.

The store rep at Verizon also told me when I asked; that battery life is affected by how many numbers you have blocked and how many contacts you have..

Twice a day but I'm on my phone pretty constantly and have had it about 18 months.

I don't bother with any battery saving functions, it takes one second to plug in the charger, it would be be different if I was going camping for a weekend, but I'm never going to intentionally play the role of a homeless nomad.

I want the screen at full brightness and not cutting off after 10 seconds of inactivity

I'm happy if my disposable Walmart Android $40 pnone lasts one year, to me a phone is like a cigarette lighter, I quit smoking long ago, I just mean disposable

Uhhh, No.

Well, i've never thought that Verizon employees were pastors or priests...More like politicans. I hate the company but a couple of people have told me they left for T Moble and one for Sprint.... Both wished they'd never done it.
