It's hard to compare the house to many areas since that acreage isn't available. Same as looking at rural housing with so much land but usally an old farm house. You can find some great housing bargains across Canada for size but then you have to be able to live there unless it's an investment or retirement. The house itself appears to be average for the asking price and an older house. Friend of mine has a 3500 square foot house in Vancouver with under an acre but a great Burrard Inlet(spelling?) view 10 minutes from downtown and that is worth 700K.ca
