My newest contract calls for a modest signing bonus up front of just under $3.00 then its a little over 3 figures spread out over 25 yrs or 1 million posts. Also twice a year i have to pressure wash a house belonging to a cousin of TTinCO in Mississippi but thats no big deal, its only like 12,000 sq.ft and usually only takes JJ a day or 2 to complete...
back when i was a hardcore forum owner (very short success followed by lots of failure) i had some guys i paid as mods and some i paid as talent...
before neteller, 888, and cryptologic pulled out of the american market it was very profitable and that money was shared with the help. some mods made $200 and that ran up to $400 for some... Jake T. actually worked with me for a while (not sure he wants people to know that haha)...
paid posters was totally different... i had a few that i would throw a bone on a good month because they deserved it for what they contributed but that was never more than a hundred bucks. i had one who deserved a lot and got a little maybe $400 or $500 over the span he was with me... always wished i could have gotten him more but the industry faded...
it is why eog has no bash. it is why eog has retarded mods and stiffs on the payroll. it is why this whole line service mess has gone back and forth.
and sadly it is not going to get any better. for years bodog lined the pockets of it's affiliates and advertisers but that model is changing.
not to say anything negative about rx... lord knows there are a lot of guys having a blast in vegas on this sites dime right now.
