Just shaved mine for the first time...not bald, but closest to skin.

Its great...wondering why I didn't do this years ago.

$9 + $3

The same thing crossed my mind a few backs, hell my whole childhood would have been alot less traumatizing without the mop that I used to sport back in the day. My sophmore year I had my hair down to my ass, hard to get respect when you are a long haired country boy(especially when you are wearing bellbottoms and heavey metal Tees in the 90's)

$8+ $4. It's no frills, but it works. I live in a part of town where hair cuts are very competitive. They keep the prices low and then expect a decent tip. It's a good system.

I can't understand tipping when you get a haircut. You are already paying them to cut your hair, and they get a tip for doing their job. Seems like everyone in the US gets a tip. In some cases its justified, but to me it makes no sense in this situation.

You can get a really good haircut here in CR for $15 and no tip, where they wash your hair a couple of times, a little scalp massage, and a beverage while you wait. Last haircut I got in the US was $40 + tip.

I thought you were Tico, if you are then you should have said "I cant understand tipping for anything because I am a cheap POS".
