When I was 12 I worked in a comic book store. I got paid in comics. Then at 13 I had a paper route, can't remember how much I got paid.

I went from interning at Disney for $7.00 an hour to making $1200 week at my first "real" job. I thought I was the richest man in the world. Was single, no responsibilities, no bills other than some student loans, no mortgage. Had the world by the balls.

When I first started babysitting in 1976 I got .50/hour... rates soon went up to .75 and $1/hour

When I was 14, got paid under the table I think $1.50/hour to sort empty bottles at a little grocery store

The next year I got another job at a grocery store bagging groceries for ~$2.50 hour

My first year out of high school, I got a job at a chain grocery store making minimum wage, which at that time (1982/83) was $3.35/hour
Got a raise after 3 months of .10/hour

1969...was a caddy at Los Angeles CC.. Got a great education in the caddy yard..Made 15 bucks for a double, sometimes 20, and made 8-10 bucks for a single. Main reason we caddied there was because we could play the course on caddy days- Mondays and Thursdays from 6-noon

I once worked at a Gino’s for 1.60 an hour and got fired for giving free food to my friends at the counter....lol

I did that stuff too, but I waited until I became an assistant manager:)
