There was a time when I would take six figures out on credit cards each football season to capture bonuses and such and pay it back in December. That went away with neteller. I currently have no debt.

This is kinda funny. Everyone talking about how they've had debt at various times and various $ and Sean brings up using leverage to maximize profits during football season in his gambling prime. Not criticizing or anything, just a funny post I thought.

Ha - how could one not. You had books that had 50% bonuses and let you parlay sides or ties with totals in soccer. You had books that let you bet $10 on Browns -7 and if an only if that won, $3000 on browns -300. You had books that left lines up hours after games were over.

Not surprisingly most these books are now long gone, but some totally legit ones allowed the soccer parlays for a long time.

It was easy to get credit. $5-10k limits on cards were the norm with a reasonable job (say $50k) and good credit. If you had them all paid in June or July you could pick up 3-5 new ones each year, load them up and then use that cash, pay off and repeat.
