How much can you expect to make on average an hour playing 1/2 Limit Holdem - 4 table

Just curious. When I was playing over a matter of around 6 months I averaged right around $10/hour. Does this sound about right?

Of course an experienced poker player who plays to the book.

um...... full table or 6-handed?

online or in real life (b/c that might be a lot of running back and forth )

$10 would actually be BAD in these circumstances.
Means you are only winning 1.5 BB's per hour per table.....

well then $10 on 4 tables is still a bit under average....at least in my opinion.

i know per table if you can make 2 BB an hour it can be profitable (obviously)

So if you play 10-20 then the BB is 10 bucks.
So a good player could make $20 an hour on that table.

obviously depending on who you are $20 an hour isn't the greatest....

but if you just playfor fun and can make $10/hour, why noti have some friends who play 2-4 limit just on weekends when watching football and such and can make $1000/month

Just my O but the 1/2 game is so rocky its not really +ev at all....maybe at 6 max but not at FR. The 2/4 and 3/6 tables have the same caliber players but they willing to gamble a lil ,defend their blinds and try to steal a few as well....
If you can beat 1/2 you can play 2/4 with the same roll and do much better hourly. At 3/6 u need a lil more roll and may need to practice table selection a little bit....
The real money is in the 5/10 FR tables when they are running, i can rarely afford to play them but when i do its like playing live games with 8 drunks....they sling chips on some of those games...
The most +EV games on Stars right now i think though are the 2/4 6 max....

From about 3K hands total...not a lot but it makes the point. 6 max is where its at ....
