How much action on NFL comes from countries other than U.S.?

Also excluding Canada.I have a feeling that it would be a higher number than a lot would expect.Can anyone or any bm give insight into this?

Betfair is currently showing US $162,000 action on the Superbowl and while Canadians can play there I believe the US is excluded. Nothing of significance on upcoming preseason games. Once I have seen regular season action will have a better idea.

For comparison, betting on who will place in the top three in the English Soccer Premier Barclays League currently has a handle of US $161,000. Surprising isn't it?

Nick, the NFL is a non event outside of the USA & Canada. Mexico has a little interest. The UK just began televising NFL games on a regular basis but I doubt if it will get much response. Nice4putt is right on. The NBA gets the interest. Basketball is an international game. Of course soccer is the king but the American product is ignored outside of the US (and inside for that matter also). Bottom line: the NFL is a bore outside the USA and in LA (pun intended).....ScottyS

You're right on Scott. NFL is a dead animal to pretty much the rest of the world. MLB does get some play from Mexico.

I am German and I am usually betting more on MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL than I do on soccer. I am only betting on German soccer when I have some good infos and sometimes on the Seria A. Every other league is useless for me. I am betting between a nickel and a dime on each NFL game. Most of my wagers are 1st or 2nd half wagers. We get 3 games each week live plus MNF live in Germany without any delay which is pretty good.
