People underestimate how easy it is to go through money, even that much of it. People live off much, much less and figure there's no way athletes should ever have money problems, but when you have that much money it's hard to keep yourself from living a very luxurious, and a very expensive life. Money goes very fast.
I have no sympathy for people that go through their money though, it's their fault, just like gamblers with no money management. I especially don't have sympathy for Vick because of the shit he did to those dogs. The guy is a scumbag as far as I'm concerned, and it's surprising to me because the few times I met him he seemed like a good guy, although a bit cocky.
