I personally am playing Denver -5 and Seattle -3.5...

BUT.......... I think Vegas (books) will see a slug of San Fran +10 and New England +11.5 teasers..... looks so easy right...? Hmmmmmmm. beware...

I think both home teams win by DD.... but no one seems to see it that way but me...and I believe I'm a smart guy...

thoughts??

just won....

Wouldn't a better teaser be DEN +1.5 and SEA +3? Both should win I think. But that looks easy to right? I think it's best not to over think this one.

As for DEN/NE... I think one big aspect when comparing this matchup vs the last one, besides home field flipping, is the TE's. This time 'Orange Julius' Thomas is IN and Gronkowski OUT. Therefore, I don't see NE scoring 4 straight TD's in 13min again.

And if SEA/SF is going to be a very physical game, how does a well-travelled SF slug out a win?

I think at least one home team covers by DD. Vegas knows there will be teaser action so my guess is one of these two lines covers easily.

Or it could be that one road team wins straight up by more than a fg.

While Gronk is out and Thomas is in...have to consider Chris Harris being out for Denver, thats huge IMO. NE def wont score 4 straight TDs like last time, but they probably wont turn the ball over 4 times in one half either (or was it 3?).

If teasers are gonna be busted I think its seattle who does it..Kap throwing into that secondary scares me...but its hard to vision Wilson doing any better... after Harvin went down last week that offense was completely different. however saints pass defense is BETTER (at least on the corners) then the 49ers, so he might find some holes that werent they last game.

Its a shame Chris Harris is out on Sunday, Champ Bailey did not play in that week 12 game so his return should help, depending on how his foot holds up. I think DRC got injured just before halftime in that game as well going after a cheap interception. New England does not really have an explosive receiving threat that can stretch the field on their roster like a Keenan Allen, as Amandola and Edelman are more slot types who Champ should be able to match up well with. Think think a guy like Tony Carter would be ok against those two as well and DRC should be fine against any of the Pats WRs. Despite his gaffes last week, I really like having Decker return the punts and leave Holiday for KO returns only. Holiday and Welker both make me nervous, Holiday in particular and they are not gonna let Welker handle returns due to the concussions.

Forgot to mention that mother nature looks to really by cooperating this weekend with kickoff temps forecast to be a sunny 55 degrees with very little wind as well. Almost golfing weather in January.
