I could do 15 on my left arm and 25 on my right and over a hundred on both when I was in the army and weighed 170.
Now at 260 I'm afraid to try. Might be up all night counting.
Well said. At the end of the day I just want to feel good about myself. It's a good toning excercise for your tris, shoulders and chest. Not much else to it.It's like anything, if you practice it enough you can do a ton (like me but I've done the P90x workout a couple times through and they do a lot of pushups).
I bet there are guys not in great shape that have done a ton in their life that can do way more than me.
I also bet there are guys in great shape that never do pushups that couldn't do more than 20.
