How many posters get tax refunds?

I just got my taxes done today and had to pay in for the 20th time in 21 years.
And the only reason i got a refund the 1 year was because I incorporated that year.
Seems like everyone gets a refund but me.

I have only owed once, and that was a year I took short term disability benefits, unemployment, and my ex-wife was self-employed. So it was a fucked up year.

Every other year I always get something back, about 3k last couple of years.

I had to pay about 5 grand in.
But I guess I get to write off everything, so it isn't too bad.

And 5 team, unless you are up to your knees in trash in the house, and I bet it is spotless, don't let your wife see the post about not working.

I've only had to pay 2 times in my life....and have gotten back as much as $4000+. I'll owe a ton this year (real estate transaction). Haven't filed yet.

Roger that. I have a very good accountant. I haven't done my own taxes for almost 20 years! I also became a Virginia resident mid-year (after being a Florida resident while on active duty the last 6+ years)...so I have to pay state income taxes for the first time in my life.

Wife and I both work. With home interest and child care right off college savings program and claim 2 kids we get around 4-5 grand back
