Take a guess and I will remember to bring this thread up next year. Seems like every one and their brother does a satellite for it. I'll guess 7,500 but I don't know if there might be a cap.

99.9% chance there will be more than 5600 since there was a tad over that this year.

The ONLY way there would be less is if they decide to limit the field someway.

Rob- It was capped at 5600 and change this year.

Thats true Dante. I suppose the Cap was only there becuase of the Venue. If they move to a larger one, theres no telling how many they could have.

It was capped at 6600 this year. I heard a rumor that next year they might consider making the buyin $25000 in order to control the number of entries. I like that idea.

They would have hit the cap of 6600 this year but Harrahs wouldn't let third-parties do entries for people. In other words if you won an entry at an online site, you still had to do the actual sign up by yourself, the site couldn't do it for you. So a number of people who might have won entries could have theoretically pocketed the cash and not bothered to enter. Of course it appeared most did go ahead and sign up, but it was considered the reason why they didn't hit the cap.
