How many people do you know that had/have Covid?

Supposedly 19 at work atm, and 19 suspected (folks in contact). The number has varied since this shit started, and not one has suffered anything more than flu like symptoms at worst, and most with none or a common cold...

Most are saying "thanks for the free vacation!". Must be nice making $35+/hr to get projects done around the house everyday for 2 weeks...

I had a great aunt pass away from covid

I know many that have it or have had it

Myself, the wife and kids have had it. 15-20 people that I work with have had it now. So far all very mild symptoms or asymptomatic with no hospitalization of anyone I know personally

Three all in the spring. All 40 something, all recovered but went through bad symptoms for several days. All recovered.

4 that I can think of. 1 was hospitalized. 2 had really bad flu like symptoms. The other was asymptomatic. Thankfully all recovered and seemingly are doing well.

My ex-boss. They promptly fired her when they found out she was pregnant and the Covid hit right about the time she told them.

They terminated her employment the day after she told them she was pregnant. They said she was no longer needed because business demand had been greatly reduced due to the Pandemic. I think she will have a tough time winning a lawsuit, although I know she had contemplated it. Hard to prove something like that with the Pandemic being a convenient excuse.
