Riley Cooper is an adult. Tate was a kid when he made his mistake. It's ridiculous to say your view of someone changed because of something they did when they were so young. He has more than atoned for his error. I doubt you've done nearly as much as he did to atone for any mistakes you made when you were 16.

In most states, 17 year old kids routinely get charged in adult court (he said 17 not 16 DEAC).

One of the first lessons I remember my old man teaching me was that you never, ever, ever strike a woman. No matter what.

I've broken almost every rule my dad ever established... Except that one.

I've had the living piss knocked out of me by a couple of different broads I've been involved with at various points in my life, and I've never hit one back... Unless it was to protect one of my daughters or my wife, I never will.

My ex was an undiagnosed bi polar, 2 pots of coffee a day, raging maniac. She had bouts with paranoia, delusions, memory loss, and frequent - startling outburts of rage. I'm 6'7" 280 lbs and she has left a trail of destruction on my body. Bloody nose, broken finger, scars on my hand and wrist from being slammed in doors. a cracked toe nail from being stomped. She was a little firecracker man. 5'5 blonde, blue eyes and crazier than a shithouse rat.. I never touched her. Though I will admit to trying to Bruce Lee chop a coffee table in half with my hand one time when she pushed me to my limits. The table didn't chop and my hand was bruised like a mofo. So glad I left her !

Slapped a woman? Not a chance in hell.

Drank and driven? Sure but it's been about 18 or so years now.

A few years back I was at the mall and my 5 year old spilled her juice box on a woman's dress. she yelled at her and I apologized and made her do it too. Lady was not happy and started mouthing off and swearing to my girl. I told her it was a mistake and if she wanted id give her money to get it cleaned. she is making a big commotion now and a worker had to tell her to walk away. i thought the incident was over but a few minutes later I am paying for something at the register, I glance 10 feet away and she does a full windup slap across by girl's face. I ran over and the bitch shoots some mace in my face, kicks me in the nuts the throws my screaming little girl on to the ground and down a couple stairs. I then slapped the bitch and she dropped instantly. Everyone watching started clapping and cheering.






this is a total bullshit story but I just think to say there is no situation to slap a girl ever is silly. I don't have a kid and never hit a girl but I'm not going to say there is no way I'd ever do it.

True story now. I have seen a guy slap his girlfriend....I was pretty far away and yelled at him "wtf are u doing...." . He yelled at me to mind my own business....then I made my over there but he got in his car and she got in too and drove away. It sickens me that some girls put up with this and still stay with the guys!

Brother, I have hit so many inanimate objects instead of the women I'm pissed at that I don't even know where to start.

I'm married, have been for 4 years, and we have a generally good marriage. I love her, she loves me, I trust her completely, she trusts that I'm faithful to her... But doesn't particularly trust me with money because I spend it like I'll never stop making it. I work in a data storage sales job, she stays home with our two daughters and we have twins on the way. We have had some knockdown dragouts, particularly over finances... We just sold the first house we bought together and I had to spend a day patching up fist holes in the walls. One of them was so big that no patch sold at Home Depot would even come close to doing the job. So I had to hire a couple day laborers to come in and replace the Sheetrock... Ugh.

Still less expensive than hitting my wife would be, on every possible level.

Back in 87' my boy popped a girl in the grill outside the movie theater. The girl was from North East Philly and was bothering him before the show. The only memory I have is when he put on a ring before the strike. It was not cool.

I went to jail for one night in 1988, the only night I have ever spent in jail, for beating the shit out of a guy for hitting a girl. I was in a bar sitting on a the stool beside the girl and I could hear them going at it ... Next thing I know he knocks the shit out of her. I just reacted, he never even saw the first one coming, I connected square on his nose and then next on his jaw. He went down and I jumped on him and landed 3 or 4 more before the friends I was there with pulled me off. Unfortunately, the guy checking ID's at the door was an off duty cop so he would not let me leave.

I spent the night in the holding cell and the next morning the judge let me go.

I'm glad that was 25 years ago because I'm not so sure the judge would be of the same opinion today ~ that he got what he deserved for hitting a girl. The guy cracked the girls cheek bone, so he had hit her pretty damn hard. I told the Judge what happened, the cop at the door verified it and judge looked at me and just said case dismissed.
