was wondering if the avg 500-1,000 dollar better divided his bets by 5 or 10 and spread across dif books to stay under the radar? with % dimes so quick to limit you as probably other books too, I was curious as to if anyone employs this strategy.

Right now is worst time to be betting in years . Clone lines everywhere and if you get kicked out big deal. You can still fine the same clone line somewhere else. Doug is right. Might as well just put all your wagers at matchbook. There is a 99.99% you won't get kicked out unless you put up crazy odds they don't like. If that happens you will receive an email to never do it again.

If you are betting $500 per game it won't really matter at the larger books. If you are routinely betting $1500+ on a game, I would spread that out to at least two books, and the rest at Matchbook if possible. This only applies if you win more than you lose.

I currently play at 10 offshore post up books, 4 credit shops, and go to 8-12 different Vegas sportsbooks a week.

Not a dime player but I do try and fly under the radar. Honestly hope I lose too certain books at certain times (as long as I come ahead overall). I think that is smart. I never try and and abuse anyone one book when I see openings to do so and so far this has worked well for me (knock on wood, LOL).

I agree and disagree. There are an abundance of "clone" shops, and many wait forever to open up. However, if you play at the right spots, and work hard, you can still get an assortment of good #s(timing is everthing). There are more reduced vig shops than at any time I can remember, and this is where a professional can gain the single biggest advantage in sports wagering.

Currently in 5 Dimes, SIA and Matchbook & two locals. Five works for me.

Have played at BetJam, Greek, BetEd, & WSex as well.

BetEd cut my limits after I went on a little winning streak from $100-$200 a game to $25 a game. I requested a payout and got it in 2-3 weeks.

No real problems anywhere else so far.

It is still the worst time to be wagering. There aren't that many reduced vig shops you can trust and most of the ones that are reduced do not have me jumping up and down. Sure there are a few but back in the day you could get a ton of scalps and middles on a daily basis. Now it takes much harder work. You knew what books to go to daily and you went and you churned out one scalp and middle after another. I'm surely not getting kicked out of any books lately so i know things aren't as good as they use to be. Sure timing is everything but these days everyone moves there numbers much quicker than just a few short years ago. Everything went way downhill since neteller and it is still dropping.

Thats interesting to me. Are they post up or credit? On screen or off screen?

Sorry if that's too nosey, obviously tell me to mind my own business if you want, but I would say I have probably 30 outs not that I use them all. 4 of them are reduced juice and I do trust the reduced juice outs.

intertops put limits on me 1-2 years ago when i was betting only $250-$500 per game and had a good 15-3 kind of run to start college hoops season.

since then, i split any bets over $250 between my 4 books (no longer intertops). i assume i'm being too careful, but i'd rather not lose outs at any of my favorite books.

$tinky, I would never play with anyone if I wasn't damn near sure(99%) I was going to get paid. That should explain about everything. Also, 30 outs in this day and age just isn't necessary. I have around 10. Good Luck

When I trusted the Offshore industry I consistently posted up in 20+ shops. Had some real serious advantages back then. I wouldn't trust any serious cash in them now. Most of the people that come in here and say they can trust the shops their in are just trying to convince themselves everything is fine

You're right about the 30 outs some I give a bet to every now and then just to keep in touch. Lots of times they do the same.

I pretty much hear what you're saying. I would have been surprised If you'd have responded and said it was all offshore lol .
