Some days are really hard but I would never trade this time I am so lucky to be able to spend with them.....

I agree as this is something I realized you can never have again once they are gone. Both are gone now for me but nice to see you know what the true priorities in life are.

Same company for 30 years until July of 2010 when our plant closed......I'm officially retired at 52 and I would never consider working for anyone again. Taking care of my parents who are both 88 and would otherwise be in a nursing home has turned out to be the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. Some days are really hard but I would never trade this time I am so lucky to be able to spend with them.....

been there and done that with the elder care, very tough and cool that you can do it, Harrington. At 88 they sure aren't perfectly healthy and need some help. I could not imagine being 70, let alone 88.
