Man that really depends on the week ... and do you consider travel for work as time spent working?
When I'm not traveling I'm in the office 8:30am-4:30pm on Soccer nights (when I gotta schlep the kid around). Non soccer nights normally 8:30am-9:00pm, though there are many, many nights when I'm in the office til 11:30pm, midnight, etc, when I've got an RFP due or some other time based deadline. There are also slow periods when I get in at 9:00am and leave by 3:00pm and I spend most of the day doing look-aheads for where the business is going 6 months out.
When I'm traveling, who knows. In Vegas last month I got up at 6:00am to get to the conference breakfasts by 7:00am, worked the conference floor + had client or prospect meetings most of the day, had business dinners scheduled and didn't get back to the room til 3:00am a few of the nights, so those were basically 20 hour days for five days in a row. Add in airline travel time, etc and it can be a lot.,
