It's certainly a troubling question to consider from a Sideline Seat when I hear of a child dying without having received medical attention most of us would consider routine, due to his parent(s) exercising their religious freedom and electing to respond to the illness/injury without the aid of any medical practicioners whatsoever.
One of those deals that I file under, Thank Goodness I Never Was Directly Confronted with such a challenge.
I think more and more will be forced to because alot of people including my family have lost medical insurance because loss of work.I for who tell my daughter let me touch the owwee with my healing hands because it costs a fortune to go to the doctor for anything..
Yeah sometimes a little encouragement goes a long way,but I remember a doctor visit was $50 dollars. What is it now?
Yeah buddy getting to pass a kidney stone is also hard.lol
So basically these religious nutjobs are against the right to die when someone is clearly a vegetable (Terry Schiavo) but are for right to die when there is a 90 % chance (according to the docs) for cure
Its probably for the best tho, because with parents like that the kid will most likely turn into a moron as well^<<^
i personally do not think that everyone, or even most, very religious people are "nutjobs" but some clearly take things too far and need to be called out. this newer thought from the non-religious that religious people have a mental disorder is simply stupid, and as dumb as the super-religious people that take things too far

MINNEAPOLIS - A Minnesota judge ruled Friday that a 13-year-old cancer patient must be evaluated by a doctor to determine if the boy would benefit from restarting chemotherapy despite his parents' objections on religious grounds.
In a 58-page ruling, Brown County District Judge John Rodenberg found that Daniel Hauser has been "medically neglected" by his parents, Colleen and Anthony Hauser, and was in need of child protection services.
