I know someone who got it last week. He walked in and the guy said he'd give him the course in 10 minutes. He paid the money and he was out in less than half an hour.

I have one. However, it may be "easy" to get one in Florida but you have to submit fingerprints. The percentage of crimes committed by people with permits is very, very, very, very, very low.

the course is extremely easy, a formality really.

no license necessary here to carry, unless you want a conceal carry permit. then you need to take a course.
