Funny, I do the hiring and firing. Have my own business.
We have a couple guys here that play but how I work it is we have quite a few Office pools, March Madness, 13 Run Pool, SuperBowl Pool etc and I usually run it with them and let them keep all the profits and tips.

As long as it is done with control and not become the focus of the work day I am all good, with the exception of myself. :drink:

I have a service business though and they are not on the computers so it really doesnt effect us in anyway.

Get the work done and then we can talk sports. I did quit my first job years ago to become a professional gambler but that lasted 1 1/2 years and when my firstborn came it ended quickly.
Too much pressure and not worth the aggravation.

Right here in the middle of Jersey!
Have a great weekend!

about 10 yrs ago, i delivered for Papa John's. As luck would have it, i had to open on a Sunday during NFL. The Mgr. knew i bet games, no big deal. I'd listen to the radio play by play on deliveries, and catch a peek of the games on our tv in the dining room when i returned to the workplace.
That morning i was running late to work and hadn't put my bets in (this was before all the offshores were 24/7), so as usual i'd call in my bets on one of the company phones. Later on, i''m out on a delivery, and our District Manager stops in. He was one of the ones that wants to be "one of us", so he answers phones, makes pizzas. ect while there. So, the phone rings, and he does the whole, "will this be carryout or delivery thing", and it's a freaking recorded message from Jack Price about some game of the year, or something. I wasn't canned, but i was instructed not to use the company phone for betting purposes anymore.

I called from my grandmothers house 5 years ago and the idiots kept calling my 90 year old grandmother trying to get her to buy there selections. Well Granny was very smart and had all her marbles, she kept them on the phone for a while and when it was time to give them a credit card # she told them to F uck off.

Most touts won't let you use a payphone to call for Bonus Plays cause they want a # to call back on their caller ID.
