My wife's boss had one planned last year and I thought it was going to be mind-numbingly boring and awkward. Figured I'd just be updating ESPN scorecenter on my phone all night so I put a wager in on a bowl game and slam two full glasses of vodka-redbull before we leave the house.

Turns out it's at an awesome seafood restaurant and this guy just wants to party and have fun. All drinks/food are on him and he's insistent I do top shelf tequila shots with him. By the end of the night a bunch of us end up at some club dancing until like 3am.

Only downfall was I didn't get buns before I passed out. I felt like shit the next day but that was one of the better Christmas parties I've been to lol.
