Be careful eating too much sushi, the fish does contain traces of mercury. Once in awhile is fine, but if you are eating it a few times a week, probably not a good idea.
Forget counting calories, and read the primal blueprint. It's one of the better books I've read about how to eat properly and incorporate it into today's modern lifestyle. It's all about controlling insulin levels. The premise of the book is that humans did not survive, thrive, and evolve on diets containing the garbage in our food supply today. It also talks about today's myths of what most people think a healthy diet is. Very highly recommended.

You seem to be a person that is very aware of good health. Have you read Gary Taubes book yet ? He certainly doesn't seem to agree with your 6-8 meals a day as being ideal.6-8 small meals a day roughly 300-500 per meal.
One meal a day is not good Harrington. Not good at all.

Not true at all. Read the warrior diet book. We are led to believe we need to eat 3-6 meals a day and that is bullshit.
