I like 24. The NCAA teams are just a farm system for NBA. Not all the teams but Kentucky, Louisville and North Carolina are. The 24 second clock creates more scoring and is played in uptempo style that is perfect for TV. Maybe it takes away a little bit of the fundamentals but it won't stop teams from playing a half court game. In a way it might keep kids in school for more than a season. They would think staying for 2-3 years will put them in a perfect spot to come into the NBA ready to dominate from the get go. The NBA could indirectly try to influence the players to stay in school. You simply tell them that the mature players will start and those who come out after one year will sit on the bench. Money is big deal but these kids want to play. The NBA can do so much to keep players in school without being sued. Reduce rookie wages where it's more attractive to stay in college, require more years to become a free agent from a rookie contract, (that is tough to fight the union on but the veterans would like it because they get to keep their jobs longer). If the players come out of college at a slower pace then the players on the NBA active rosters keep their jobs longer before they are cut.
