How is it possible to get 3000 views in 24 hours?

Just wondering if anyone could enlighten me to how a thread I created yesterday in the hockey sub forum could get 3000 hits in 24 hours. Actually 2909 but still climbing. Normally I couldn't get 3000 views in the hockey forum on a good year much less in one day.

Any help would be appreciated.
