MAC games look great to bet in midweek, looks like real football, players wear uniforms, the teams have vegas lines and power ranking stats.

However, I've given them up after I added up how much I had lost on small mid week "fun" bets.....

The favorite in the other game today only covered because Kent went for it on 4th down and 20 from their own 19 and got sacked.

Even better was the possession before when they had the ball around the CMU 5 after an interception. One play bad snap and another sack and they go backwards 25 years instead of scoring.

Hats off to Akron and a very dynamic offense. Not sure if it is the "MAC factor" (where no logical handicapping makes sense sometimes on these games), a letdown off big win for Ohio, or what, that is a performance from Akron offense that was not seen all year against a stout defense. Difficult to predict something that you haven't seen happen before. Akron broke 30 against I-A opponents only twice, against Bowling Green and Ball State, the 2 worst in the MAC.
