I think this is probably it. A team like the Royals should know that home runs make the highlight reel but most games are won with singles and doubles.
I lost on the KC team total so I'm just as frustrated with the outcome. I lost count how many times the bases were juiced tonight and the mighty Royals were downright impotent.
You know something else fellows, my boy works for a MLB team up north and he tells me that the bat speeds are down this year and have been down since the juice years. He said something that struck me as interesting is that the GAP shots... not the down the lines....but the GAP SHOTS ( splitting OF'ers on a hit to the wall) are way down too. He told me that a high rate of bat speed is needed to hit a GAPPER. and because its down and speeds of pitchers are WAY UP you dont see it as much...i mean everyone tosses 96 these days that the ability to GAP one is way down. And that GAPPER was the biggest fan to a bases loaded situation. Think about it.
You get folks that say the juice doesnt make you able to hit a baseball and they are correct but if you CAN HIT IT ....ALFRED ......DAAAAAANG you will scorch the earth with a quicker bat and heavier hand. I mean look at Bonds and his GODFATHER HORSE SIZE HEAD at the end...DAAAAAAAANG....
But he just told me that the GAPPERS arent affecting the game as much.......with the high velocity of the pitchers right now and the lack of the juice ...the GAPPER are becoming a extinct piece of the game...
Take it as you will... just something I felt interesting and worth sharing after so many complain ( myself included) why teams can barely scratch a run out with the bases juice, no pun intended.
You just dont see that bases loaded base clearing double anymore...

Yes mods I was just try to be civil & positive. I was in another RX FORUMN members thread wishing him good luck in his Seattle pick over CLEV. I said I had the over 8.5 in the game. Then Boss 415 comes in & says you can't come in & give your pick on the over in his thread. THe guy won large. I lost & I went back congratulate him. He said thanks. He said Boss415 is transvestite & he's always in his business. He said I have no problem with you. Good luck. Tell the guy leave me alone. I post my own plays .
