How important is sportsbetting to you?

Just a general question. Is wagering on sports just a hobby, or is it a big part of your life. Maybe its your job, or its just nickle and dime shit, wagering on the MNF game for a little action? Lets hear it. Another answer could be: mind your own fucking business lol.

I go first, if nobody minds. Sportsbetting to me is definitely just a hobby, but Im making a complimentary coin on it, tailing some great cappers on this forum. The most important thing is to have fun with it. Only bet what you can afford to lose, its no fun when you have to sell your house to get rid of that gambling-debt @). A starting bankroll that you can lose at the beginning at the season, and thats that, if its gone, so be it.

Its a money making hobby which is basically a Job, but I dont look at it that way. I love watching sports and feel like I have a better grasp on whos going to win, better than most...So I put my money where my mouth is. Dont like hypocrites.

Also a hobby for me, I'm a small time grinder bettor, so I don't ever sweat my bet.
I paid my dues when I was in school, showing a small profit over the past few years.

nahh man, i moved to FLA, but spending some time in NJ a couple of weeks a year, with family. Cranford, really? was in the Skybox one time, watching some foots (dont know if you know that joint) In No.Cald my fav spot to watch a game is Verona Inn, definitely!

It's a hobby mostly as I don't have enough time and money to be a serious bettor. I probably wouldn't even watch sports all that much if it wasn't for betting though.

I look at sportsbetting as both a hobby and a job (because I'm making coin on the side). I feel that this is sports investing to me, just the same idea like a stock trader would feel about stocks investing.

Both industries are basically the same (I know some would strongly disagree)... for me, I look at them as: we put money on a group of athletes on a team (sportsbetting) or group of people working collectively for a public company (stocks). We put money based on our research and instincts on whether the team/company would prevail and meet the expected goal.

So all said, I tell people that I'm "working on my side job" on computer whenever I am here looking for bets to make.

It's just that I'm not making enough income to replace my regular job's income so I don't spend too much time sportsbetting -- now especially being a father to twin daughters, 4 months old. Yet, I still am aggressive in trying to increase the side job's income (still through money management, of course) so I am finding the balance to do that these days.

I strongly feel that if I was given $10K on my lap for me to borrow right away, I'd do great with it and feel confident that I could build it up to something like my yearly income. Of course, that's how everyone feels, LOL.

Small time player here..At one time the sports gambling ran my life. I never went into huge debt or anything but there was nothing else in life except seeing the scores. The time consumption factor can also be a huge negative effect on life around you (family). It was not a good place for me or my family. I love to gamble and everyone around me knows it but now I am not worried about San Diego St scoring one more TD at 2:00am. I stopped for about 3 years and just last week tried one of my cc's just for kicks thinking it would not work and voila' C note deposited..Had some fun made some games more exciting last weekend but super small time for me.. Love the Canes tonight lmao
