I used to go at least 5 times a year when I lived in LA...have been back twice a year since moving to the northeast...I don't go as much for the gambling anymore for the reasons pointed out above, but still enjoy it is a destination as it as a place my g/f likes (drinking fruity drinks by the pool, nice restaurants, clubs, etc) and I can still hit the tables and do my thing so everybody wins!

Heading there for the long 4th of July weekend and looking forward to it! Might even pop the question while we are there if I can get my act together and shop for a rock between now and thennnn...

But that may be tough since I am taking off for a week in Hawaii this evening for another buddy's wedding...

When I lived in your neighborhood, was there twice a week on average!

Alot has changed up there since then..........as only a handful of vistiors frequented there back then.

dante...what's holding you up from moving here....lived here since '97 and loving every minute of it...it is what it is...nothing more nothing less...remember it's just a regular town once you get off the strip...haven't been to the strip in over two years..haven't been to the wynn resort...don't care to..vegas is vegas that's it..thanks jeffksu...oh by the way...bought new home with pool and jacuzzi...3 car garage in 2002 for 180000 and it is now valued at 340000 not bad little increase for 2 years...

Since so many really don't care for it except Dante, why don't I rent the local fairground barn and we can have a bash in Central Indiana. I can get some pioneer seed corn caps to hand out and we can have a big 15 bean soup supper with plenty of beer. Maybe I can get some help from the 4H committee.

Dante, I have a couch, 2 recliners, 2 xtra beds, and floor space. If you can deal with the dirt and dust, you are more than welcome buddy.
